Happy almost Valentines Day! If you are coming from Know How She Does It, welcome! So happy to have you here!
This Valentines Day both of us will be celebrating in Marco Island with our husbands! If you don’t already know, Marco Island is where we have our Family Beach condo that we bought last year for winter getaways. We are from the Minnesota, so having a warm place to call our own is an absolute dream.
Now, since we are both going to be celebrating Valentines Day by the beach we thought why not set up a romantic tablescape on our balcony overlooking the famous Marco Island sunset.
Setting up a romantic tablescape like this for your significant other is a wonderful Valentines Day surprise, and with a few simple key accessories this tablescape screams romance and Valentines Day.
The back drop of this tablescape really does set the tone, but no matter where you are Romance is achievable! Flowers and lit candles are a must!
A white tablecloth allows for us to get creative with our accessories. It’s like a blank canvas awaiting a beautiful masterpiece to be created!
For our accessories we used food to our advantage. Berries, Rose’, and a white cake add character and interest to the scape.
Classic Valentines Day themed napkins pull in the theme and bring in an element of whimsy without being overdone and cheap looking.
Lit candles always set the tone for romance!
Pink champagne is always romantic and festive but a sparkling rose’ does the trick too and is a less expensive yet delicious option.
Colorful berries goes great with wine, plus they are a great palette cleanser!
We decorated a simple white cake with a Valentines Day cake topper and fresh flowers!
Roses are the ultimate Valentines Day flower and perfect for our tablescape!
A faux sheepskin rug adds a bit of glam as well as a cozy touch 🙂
We love watching the sun as it sets, it’s kind of a thing here. On a clear night people generally line the beach to watch. “Lets do sunset” is a common theme.
If you live in a warm climate watching the sunset is always so romantic. We aren’t even sure why…it’s probably the magic of it all and the colors of the sky, going from light to dark.
